Deep Jungle

A collection of containers balanced and half-buried around the dancefloor, forming a novel playground for patrons to explore. Platforms and 40ft containers protrude from the earth at off-kilter angles, lending a precarious yet playful atmosphere, while a central vanishing point draws the eye into a dual-mounted laser. HarveyG's artwork speaks to the geology of the site, tying the containers to the ground they emerge from. Deep Jungle 2024 was designed and built by alterplace for Strawberry Fields Festival.
